Baptism

Baptism is the Christian religious rite of sprinkling water on to a person's forehead or of immersing them in water, symbolizing purification or regeneration and admission to the Christian Church. In many denominations, baptism is performed on young children and is accompanied by name-giving.
Types of Baptism 
1.Baptism by water:They interpret some Biblical passages concerning baptism as requiring submersion of the body in water. ... Baptist Churches baptize in the name of the Trinity—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. However, they do not believe that baptism is necessary for salvation; but rather that it is an act of Christian obedience.

2.Baptism by fire:
Baptism by fire is a phrase originating from Europe that describes an employee that is learning something the hard way through a challenge or difficulty

3.Baptism of repentance:
Though today the word baptism generally evokes thoughts of identifying with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, baptism did not begin with Christians. For years before Christ, the Jews had used baptism in ritual cleansing ceremonies of Gentile proselytes. John the Baptist took baptism and applied it to the Jews themselves—it wasn’t just the Gentiles who needed cleansing. Many believed John’s message and were baptized by him (Matthew 3:5–6). The baptisms John performed had a specific purpose.


4.Baptism of Holy Spirit
In Mark 1 and John 1, the Baptist proclaimed that Jesus "will baptize in (the) Holy Spirit"; while in Matthew 3 and Luke 3, he "will baptize with Holy Spirit and fire". Jesus is considered the first person to receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

In ancient Persia, there was a king by the name of Bagadata. The king was getting old, and the lack of an heir, worried him a lot. He consulted with the queen and his ministers, and decided to appoint an honest child as the prince. For this purpose, he decided to test who is the most honest of them all. He proclaimed, ‘I will distribute seeds to all the children in the kingdom. The child, who grows the biggest plant within three months, will become prince or princess.’  Cyrus, a poor farmer’s son, was among those children who took the seed from the king.
